Okra

My okra is weird. It's not growing like it should. After 2 months and only 6 inches tall. What's the deal? It's like they're genetically defective. Does okra also need genetic engineering in order to survive like corn? What strange nematode or disease hampers growth in the clemson spineless?

sometimes okra gets a slow start..try hiling the ground around the roots some...keep it watered too. it likes rain.I grow okra every year and some years are better than others..but don't give up on it too soon. give it awhile to kick in...did you put rapid grow or some kind of food on it..that might help...My kids love okra fried. it freezes well too.. |< << >> >|
